  1. using a separate computer and RIP computer

We have a computer for design work, a computer for office work, and a third computer that runs Rasterlink and SignCut and handles our day to day print and cut operations only.

    Gotham Black would probably work.
  3. Large high resolution graphics for signs

Somebody here on this forum turned me on to textures.com a few months ago and I've been using it on a regular basis ever since.
  4. What's a good thick outdoor sign material-1 3/4"-2" thickness for a building sign?

Personally, I would say if you want something thick that looks like wood, attach some .063 aluminum sheet to a 2" aluminum tube or angle framework with VHB tape. For the look of real wood, just wrap it with a print. This would be a lightweight and economical alternative, anyway.
  5. Recognize this? Weird Font

Am I the only one that notices the phallic cow skull? Oops. I didn't even read the comment above. Sorry. Obviously I'm not the only one. Hahaha!
  6. Table Cover Supplier

This is our supplier of choice, and we like the quality as well, but the prices could be better.
  7. Oversized Aluminum & Aluminum Composites (Max Metal, Omegabond, ePanel, etc...

  8. Oversized Aluminum & Aluminum Composites (Max Metal, Omegabond, ePanel, etc...

There's nothing wrong with buying 5' x 10' sheets if they suit your needs better, but when you want to cut something like eight 24" x 24" signs from one 4' x 8' sheet with your router, it's impossible.
  9. Why no love for 3M vinyl?

We're a predominantly Orafol shop here and with good reason, at least in my opinion. Orafol products are much more affordable. (Many believe you get what you pay for) That still doesn't make it any less affordable. Orafol is a German company and I like quality German products and engineering...

  15. Need Help Indoor Wall Mural Over Vinyl Graphics

My advice would be to remove the vinyl. Paint indoors will last "forever". Vinyl will most likely not, so it sounds like a recipe for eventual failure.
  16. What material?

Why is this 'right'? We run labels like this all day long for decent profits. We just solvent print onto Oracal 651 and contour cut or half cut.
  17. Can I get a little font help?

Hmmm.... In my opinion, if you take Interstate Compressed UltraBlack and slightly uncompress it, that will get you close. I would say to use Interstate Condensed UltraBlack but there are some slight differences in the M as well as the lower case letters.
  18. Competing With Online Giants Like Vista Print & Custom Ink

Who? PFFT! But in reality, we don't care about our offset and digital print sales enough to worry about Vistaprint and Custom Ink surprisingly doesn't seem to be lowballing against it's competitors so they're no real threat.
  19. stock forms

    They can't do it custom?
