  1. Tasmanian Devil

Shop down the road from us got in trouble a few years back for printing Yankees on some shirts. Not sure how they were found out, but I would suspect the shirts were worn to a game and someone may have simply asked where they had them made. You never know. I'll admit to having made things I...
  2. Sheriff paid Mosh a visit

That's one of the things I miss about the service, getting paid to play with all the toys.
  3. Screen printed acrylic sign faces??

I would suggest you figure out what your dealing with before you go spraying chemicals all over it in hopes of it coming off, or you may very well be replacing the whole panel.

    Post a test print.
  8. Maroon Solvent ink for sign printing?

Ordered a gallon of Inktech. To be honest these inks cost too much to experiment with to try and hit the right color.
  9. Maroon Solvent ink for sign printing?

I tried that, not very happy with the results. I would rather have a source for more consistent color. I have a color card from Nazdar, none of the stock colors are really close to maroon. Rubine looks more light red. I'll give the Inktech a look. Thank you.
  10. Maroon Solvent ink for sign printing?

Does anyone have a source for maroon solvent ink. Nazdar has some, but it's a transparent toner ink and you have to purchase it in 4 gallon lots. This is being used to screen print yard signs. Thank you.

What exactly do YOU do? Only what I want to. Screen print shirts and yard signs, also digi print yard signs, vehicle mags, decals and banners. We offer cards and flyers, but don't do them in house. Are you self-employed, an employee,...? Self, with 3 full time employees. What is your...
  12. Random thoughts for a kinder, gentler S101

Tom Hitchcock. My business is Farmboy Graphics, hence my nickname. That's about as interesting as I get.
  13. Need help with T shirt transfer print quality...

Chances are what you get has been printed on the Solutions Opaque. Very thin, stretchy and will adhere to just about anything. We use it 95% of the time. I don't care for the Color Print, to papery feeling for me. For those asking about color profile, if you're using Versaworks you have several...
  14. Price Beatdown

When having these discussions at a round table about sign pricing, will there be reps from Staples, Kinkos, UPS and any other big box print shop sitting in? This industry will never conform to a standard pricing.
  15. need business card supplier NorthEast

Very happy with Got Print. No issues.
  16. Payment to sole proprietors...

Order paid in full before we begin work. The only exceptions, schools, gov. organizations ...and then we request a PO. Plus what ddarlak said, you have to pay when you purchase.
  17. Much smaller scale than everyone I've seen on here!

Most of these groups already have a local printer or purchase online, yes you could do the work for a single team, but you wouldn't be able to compete with a screen printer on shirts for a whole league. Most people in the shirt business use their plotter and heat press for one offs, name and...
  18. For all you shops that bring the pooch to work

Glad I never claimed any professionalism. Like Binki, people are bummed when our dogs aren't there. Some customers bring their kids, just so they can see the dogs. Our UPS guys even love to see them and always bring treats. I get more comments on facebook pics of the dogs then I get on some of...
