  3. Getting the step look

so, let's get to the bottom of this... I'm still not clear on what you have, where you started & what you did... but 2 things stand out so far, as reading oddly... in illustrator you don't really "work at 300 dpi" ..I mean I do think 300 is a default when you open an illy file in...

  13. Our New Logo

I saw this thread last night & tried really really hard to now jump on there & speak the truth of what i think of your design.. 14. Edge or similar thermal output for backlit

that's how i would do it too
  15. Vendor Agreement

I wouldn't be too happy about it, but how I would react would depend on how valuable i thought the relationship is. Different thoughts that come to mind are to require disclosure of their clients to allow me to identify if they are already my clients... or perhaps to say "my lawyer has...
  16. Can't We Just Shoot'em?

  17. Edge or similar thermal output for backlit

face applied is a new term for me. That sounds like applying vinyl to the face of the sign. reverse applied of second surface are far more common terms for what you are now describing... but maybe I'm the one out of the loop... i just never heard of "face applied" meaning reverse applied.. so...

  20. Edge or similar thermal output for backlit

what kind of art? vector? simple or complex? the edge can't print that size, but with vector art, the spot color printing capabilities might be a step in the right direction for you... you can do double hit's with the black, or even triple... and even if it is a raster file, you could print as...
