Nevermind, I just found the "reverse curve direction" icon on the toolbar. I don't understand what reversing the direction does though. I never used that before.
You're right it must be open but the Corel toolbar indicates the contrary but for the life of me I can't find it. However I just resolved this by creating a .001 contour around the suspect object, deleted the original and presto it worked! Thanks for your replies guys.
I've ungrouped, and broke it apart and it still refuses to work right. The object manager shows nothing more than what i think should be there. It is not an ai file, it is something I created myself. Still no luck. Argh!
I use this all the time with no problem, but every now and then the two objects refuse to combine and show the background as needed. Does anyone know why it does this? I thought maybe my object was not a closed curve but it is. I have also tried the trim function to no avail. It is driving me crazy!
One advantage of the Ege is that you can leave it for months and when you go to print it is ready to go. No worry about clogged nozzles, etc. It's not the best option for fine 4 color printing but great on spot colors.
I have been studying CorelDraw on ebay and oddly enough complete versions of corel 9 seem to sell for higher than complete versions of Corel X3. I don't get that.
So since I can't load Corel 9 on my new computer because the disk is in crumbles I will have to buy the full version of x3 to get it? That sucks, I have all the pieces of that shattered disk. Do you suppose if I sent it to Corel they would help? Ha. Early on I did not back up the disk because I...
I have a number of questions that my searches haven't uncovered the answers to. I have a legal version of Corel 9 and have been happily using it for 6 years. Now my computer is getting old and slow. Some months ago this same computer crunched up the Corel disc 1 into hundreds of pieces. I stayed...
To follow up with Jill's line of caution. These ornaments are easy for pranksters to steal. We had a nice 6 foot tall stork that we made out of sign ply and it was Edge printed, we also had the steel frame custom built for it. It was stolen from a yard the third time is was rented. Maybe you...
I'm doing letters for a new sorority , I didn't realize that the greek letters were not plentiful in the standard font selection. I found the letter for omega in my corel "symbol proportional" font but it is UGLY! Suggestions as to where to look?
Blueinkajou- usually when I get that message of "access denied" it is because a file that I've had open used some aspect of that other file. (probably accessed one of the fonts in this case), at least that is my theory. Close your programs and reboot the computer then try to do the...
Welcome Sign girl. Where are you at in Illinois? Nebraska aint that far away, maybe sometime when I'm passing through (which admittedly isn't that often) I could say Hi. Sorry to hear of your loss, may your father's spirit continue to bless you.
For delighting in the noble grape I am quite fond of Santa Barbara County and the Santa Maria Valley, (recently the subject of much interest due to the movie Sideways). During our two short years of living in Los Angeles County that was one of our favorite week-end escapes. Alas, the Nebraska...
