Did you go into device manager and verify if there are any unknown devices? take a picture of what you have in device manager and post it.
Also, make sure the cable for the rfid board is plugged into the correct port shown in the attached photo on the data relay card. While these look like...
To close the OCE software, hit F11 on the keyboard to take the program out of full screen and then you can hit the X to close. The printer runs windows XP embedded so it is a bit harder than a normal computer to navigate. The easiest way to get to device manager is to hit the windows key + R to...
you likely need to install drivers for the different motherboard, this is possibly why you have gotten the RFID board error. Use a PS/2 keyboard plugged directly into the motherboard and go into device manager, you likely have some drivers missing. If you can get into device manager, take a...
One other thing you could try is clearing the BIOS memory, should either be a jumper (can find in the intel manual for the motherboard) or pull the battery and leave out for around a half hour. Should also check the voltage of the battery, should be a 3V CR2032 battery.
I haven't had to replace mine, but I would guess a motherboard with the same chipset would work, should be a intel desktop motherboard. Some searching on ebay should locate one. Find the model number on the board and search for that, as buying it as a OCE board the price will be way more money.
looking at your photos, I can see that the motherboard has power, also is very dirty (cpu fan / heatsink clogged) I would try reseating the memory with the power disconnected and see if that helps. As a matter of maintenance I would also clean up the dirt as well. Hopefully the motherboard...
Assuming you have the VGA cable connected to a working monitor, take off the large panel on the side to the left of where the ink bags go, should have some slotted holes in it, just loosen the screws and slide the panel to remove.
You should now be able to see a few large circuit boards, Left...
I think he is missing the flash drive that had the software shipped on it. If he was using it he has to have the dongle. Sounds like he needs the installer and the printer driver for a 360. I may have access to the printer installer for an older version, but cant remember if it is 11 or 12 my...
That can be solved by the timing files in the printer, is calibrated by registry entries, and fine tuned with the scanner alignment utility.
I have already modified the printer heavily to get it to work again lol
Not sure, if I could find a datasheet / pinout for the toshiba head, a PCB could be made to go inbetween the head and the carriage board. would accomplish the same thing more than likely.
Has to be done electronically, the ce4 hears are a pair of heads permanently bonded together. there is a guy in Ukraine that sells hacked software/ hard drive to do it, but have been waiting till i cant recover my heads any longer
Actually, The native resolution is actually the same, just stated differently. the CA4 head is installed in pairs, with the alignment shifted so that the nozzles from each combine to be 300 dpi.
The CE4 is two heads in one package doing the same thing.
The issue is how to mirror the data...
Two tricks to avoid media waste with latex, turn the cutter off and leave the last print in the printer till the next job and cut off by hand.
Or tape an old scrap on and feed only a few inches out past where it starts to print if you cant wait till the next job. This will avoid massive media...
Even laminated, you will get blurring from changes in humidity over time from the ink not being water proof. Also the media choices and quality are very poor and expensive for water base printers.
Eco-sol heads require constant maintenance, and ink waste. If you are having issues keeping latex...
