  1. Would you...................

The only "out" I can think of on this would be to tell your customer that is not your place to hand over the vectored artwork because you were not the original designer, however, if the original artist gives you permission to hand it over, you will be glad to. Think about if you were the...

Centabel Book for the large one
  4. I need a color chart

The one for coated colors will be the one you use most often. Basically, coated means glossy & uncoated means matte. Look up the color you want to hit and apply that pantone number in your design files and you should be good to go, as long as your print suppliers have their machines calibrated...

  6. No Sense Of Humor

Cops Didn't Like My Sense Of Humor Tonight (Halloween). Guess I shouldn't have fired up the chainsaw in his window!
  7. Sandy

Here's the short version of what I think he meant to say: "um, dude...I don't think electric companies bill you for anything if your meter isn't spinning (aka: power outage)."

  9. Need a 7' Bowling PIn

I will bet you are talking about North American Carousel in Minneapolis, no? www.nacarrousel.com I used to do some work for them several years ago. I believe they had a big fire earlier this year.
  10. Suggestions for Slideshow software

I tried Picasa years ago and did not like how it searched and tagged every form of image file on my entire computer and seemed to add lots of other files to the system as well. Maybe it's different now and maybe it would be OK if you only have it on a computer dedicated to running that slide...
  11. $15.00 sf ??

$15/square 3 years ago was not much of a problem to get. These days... um...yeah, not so much.
  12. Vancouver Car Wraps Steal Photos

Watermarking is like locks on your doors. It helps keep the semi-honest people from taking your stuff but if they really want it they will take it. at least they don't get to use a clean photo. The watermark doesn't have to be that prominent, just enough to know it's there for sure. They can be...
  13. Vancouver Car Wraps Steal Photos

That sucks and is a good reason to watermark all your photos. I am getting ready to redo my websites this Winter and plan on watermarking everything.
  14. Potential or Trainwreck?

How about something like this instead? Needs the trunk in the t revised a bit though.
  15. How can this happen?

I've seen it happen just like that, and my case I figured out that it was a combo of calendared lam on top of cast vinyl. Don't know if that is exactly why it happened but the side of that van that had more sun exposure really went to hell fast. The prints were subbed out to someone else and It...
  16. Talk about Avery Film

  17. Talk about Avery Film

The part that pissed me off (and probably many others who had issues) was how they stonewalled it, kept saying they were sending someone out to look at it asap, etc. All the while I was trying to remedy the situation with my clients as fast as possible while they became even more agitated. In...
  18. Font ID Please

  19. anyone recognize this font??

I like that font (if it is indeed a font). I has a lot of similarities to Kimberly but still no match. If you are just looking to reproduce the logo then that would be an easy one for the Vector Doctor to handle, I'm sure.
  20. Talk about Avery Film

Was brought up for sure.... I had several different colors, and some white reflective also, FAIL MISERABLY. Several that were drop shipped directly from Avery, with receipts to prove it.
