Seeing as the dealer can not issue or create such codes, they are often caught in the middle. BUT, they should be your advocate and first line of support to the manufacturer.

Your best bet would be to contact the reseller from which you purchased from... They will have inside contacts. Be sure to send them the UPS Tracking number as confirmation. Probably already done this.
Common practice for most software vendors that require dongle. Recommend you supply tracking number to the supplier you purchased from and if shown as delivered, they should be able to email you a code or new password or license file or whatever you need.

See your point and have run into that but you can connect a syringe with tube to each side of damper and push/pull ink through. Obviously don't recommend this but have done before.

I have seen on several occasions where ink from one line had siphoned into another through the cleaning station. If the damper was a one way valve, this would not be possible. If the cleaning station is saturated and one cartridge is 20% full and another 90% full, it is possible for the vacuum...
Looks like an ink starvation issue that could be caused by low flow through the dampers.
Head cleans and washes may not resolve the issue. Replacement of dampers is probably a must.
