    I was told to only run the head height high for banners! I have noticed blurring when printing self adhesive with the head set to high. SC

    I think when the machine was new the vacuum went off as you lifted the lever. It seems to be on all the time now. Is their a way of changing the vacuum and when it comes on? Their seems to be a lot of suction so I reckon it is working OK. SC

    On our VJ 1604 I have been encountering more and more head strikes. I have changed material suppliers but I still have problems. Even knocking the heaters down or off still gives me problems!! Is their anything I can do or should be looking at? One of my vinyl suppliers said it was the printers...
  10. Trying to color match a metallic

    Choose some similair colours, print a large enough block, get customer to choose one. Simples....... I reckon it's pointless trying to match a flat colour to a metalic as even viewing from a slighly different can change the colour. In this case let the customer decide, just don't print too...

    Thanks for that. I showed the customer that if they wanted this letterstyle it was gonna cost them as I didn't have it on my system. As soon as they found it was gonna cost them more, all the fuss they had made about that it had to be this font changed and they promptly chose another...

  20. More blocked Nozzles then when i started cleaning

    Just a little question..... Is your pump pulling the ink through? I find on my Valuejet the underlying pipework gets blocked and ends up causing exactly the problem you have. It will take a bit of time cleaning this all out and getting the pump clear. SC
