In all honesty I never checked the output, I just assumed from the symptoms of running for a while and then barfing that the power supply was getting week. Shoulda put a meter on it. Sometimes you DO have to stick your head up the bulls ass to find out if the steaks are good or not . . . hahaha!!

sooo . . . in your guestimation . . . when a mainboard goes bad is it usually just a failure of a component on the mainboard or is there something on down the line that shorted it out? I know nothing lasts forever but is this kind of typical for a printer that is older?

I did pop it out and reinstalled it but it didn’t change anything . . . is there a history of them going bad? It’s not a daily issue with computer ram going bad but I’ve seen it numerous times. I’ll try cleaning it and reinstalling it. Thanks for the idea!! Take Care T
