I see. Do you suggest loading in the material a different way? I called Mimaki and they said they've had complaints of heavier material shifting, so I'm trying to find an at home remedy before I have to order a whole new plotter.

Those are rubber bands attached to the pinch rollers at 1:10. Without them they shift even more. I've had this plotter around 7-10 years. Would you recommend anything else?
