I was going to ask the same thing. Are the temps set correctly for the media? Are you using the correct media profile for your media? In Versaworks are you using the printer default temp or are you using theedia temp from the profile? We have the same printer and have not had a similar problem.
Same thing for us. Bought our new printer in January. Checked with our vendor and after they contacted Roland they got back to us and said there was nothing they could do. This is our 5th Roland printer and the first disappointment we have ever had.
Come on Roland, I can understand not giving...
Assemble it in your shop, mount a "Z" Bar/French Cleat on it. Do a pattern, install half of the cleat on the building and then install the sign. Fasten it and your done.
SLX isn't meant to be used as a Print/Cut material. We learned that after using it when it was new for print cut and the jobs failed. That's why they introduced SLX+ which can be print /cut.
Easet is the one out IT guy recommends. It seems to do a great job and will even open a secure browser if needed based on the type of information that must be entered. No problems since we installed it.
Heartbreak Hotel is an old hand lettering font that would have been hand drawn. The sign would have been hand lettered. The Kings and Restaurant wouldn't be Myriad Pro since that font was introduced around 1990 or 1991 (if it's really a old sign).
Everything we could find out said that there is a difference and that you are not supposed to use the TR Cleaning Fluid after upgrading. We did font put the cleaning fluid in the TR2 cleaning pouch is the same as the TR2 bottle of cleaning fluid but it’s about $30 to $35 less expensive. We...
AXYZ is the way to go! We have had our 4'x8' router for almost 20 years and it still runs like a champ! Minimal downtime and limited repairs over the years. We just saw them at the SGIA show and the sales rep contacted us after to give us the exact date we purchased the router. There tech...
We were just at the SGIA show and went there with the intention of focusing on a new Roland to replace our old one (moving from 54" to 64") but after looking at just about everything, we are most likely going to go with the EPSON SureColor S50670 and a Summa plotter. Colors and print quality...
We were just at the SGIA show for the last couple of days and looked at the RF 640. The top speeds listed are for banners. On vinyl we were told at the Roland booth that it will only print about 110 to 1150 sqft per hour as the vinyl can not absorb the ink as quickly. Not a huge speed...
Just saw that Alumigraphics at SGIA and it was installed outside. No heat install, just uses a roller and hands. 3M installed on a collum and it took about 30 minutes, Alumigraphics installed and it took about 4 minutes.
We are going to get some samples and see what we think.
We were the first indepentant sign company to sign up with Signvox once they went public outside of the franchise world. It has was a great move and has been awsome software. We have tried others, even purchased a pretty expensive one but in the end, Signvox has worked best for us. Would...
Find someone local or close by that manufactures semi-trailers. We had to get a piece of aluminum that was 10' x 25' and the local trailer manufacturer was able to give it to us in a bound role.
Does anyone use or have tried xero.com as their accounting software? Looking at it as a possible switch from quickbooks online but interested in opinions.
Thanks in advance!
