Could be, could be wax, could be anything. Sounds like a problem customer if they're using stuff like WD40 to "clean" things.

Check out MacTac's B-Free Frosted/Dusted and also General Formulation 790AE Light Etch Air-Egress. Works way better that the 3M stuff, much more friendlier for the installer. Can be done wet or dry.

Try saving the same image in a different color space. (RGB vs CMYK) or if you're using 16-bit color, try 8-bit color. Or even what type of file it is; ie TIFF vs JPEG. I also think it is an issue in Onyx with the profile interpreting the file, but it may be easier to adjust/fix on the front end...

I would be willing to bet that they just accidentally printed onto temporary window perf. Most rolls we have here are NOT marked in the core as to what they are, and if you don't do a GREAT job of marking them yourself and keeping track of which is which, it is VERY easy to print onto the wrong...

Wish we could. Doing a large project at this location and this little thing is the weird part of it. Most everything else is pretty straight-forward/normal stuff.

We run the crap out of our GFP laminators here. Many thousands of rolls through each. VERY easy to learn and train new people on.
