    Turns out you must be right! I just put her back together (all cables were ok) did a strong cleaning and the cyan was back at full throttle! Must have been something with the ink cart and the counter or either one. Again, thanks for the responses.

    Thanks for pointing me in that direction, Randya. I messed around with the effect settings a bit and turns out it prints MUCH better on Fine&wave2 than it was on 1. Looks like I'll be able to get some more miles out of her after all. Again, Thank you Sir!
