what do you guys suggest to use as a adhesive promoter for oracal vinyl?... i've used 3m primer 94 with oracal 970ra and it was coo, just can't lift back when it touches, kinda like a do or die, yes i know the adhesive on the oracal will pull off onto the area where the 3m primer 94 was laid...

i try to remove as much stuff as i can, i'm talkin roof rails, handles, mirrors, sometimes i take the mirrors apart, headlights, emblems, sidemarkers, etc... it is a lot more work, would prefer not to do all that, but i feel if it's gonna be done right, that's whats involved...

di-noc is a tricky product to work with, i've been using this stuff for the last 2yrs, di-noc carbon fibers & di-noc brushed vinyls. because its more PVC based than vinyl and it is really thick it doesn't like to conform to grooves like those. seams are more necessary with di-noc than other...

why not just heat up a lil bit, pop a very small hole at only 1 end of the bubble (closet to the edge of the bubble so you won't get much shrink back), and lightly heat up and press it down with your finger starting from the opposite end of the hole you popped. then heat it up like normal and...

Oracal 970ra matte black FTW! this is what i use. i like the fact that it's a 4mil vinyl with the overlam built into it, i think it is better protection this way from rock chips/ surface scratches, etc...

yea, it looks like that bubble is one of those that you would need to cut open. i don't think you would be able to press it down and not lift again...

i would cut it, add primer94 to the bubbled spots, heat up and get the primer to dry & your cut are to shrink back a bit, press it down. then i would just run a thin strip of the same material along that recessed indent the full length of the area and call it a day.
