  1. Mimaki UJF 3042 - UV Flatbed Printer - Information - Questions & Support

Print fixtures can make a big difference in the amount of overspray and nozzle garbage you get on the print heads. If you aren't masking your substrate (whatever you're printing on) so that it is relatively flat then the excess ink blows around in the "wind" created by the head zooming back and...
  2. Mimaki UJF 3042 - UV Flatbed Printer - Information - Questions & Support

Not sure who you're asking, but my experience is nozzle drop out (especially on Cyan/Magenta head closest to the UV lamp).

I may be missing something obvious, but if we were to print something long utilizing a takeup roll and then rear load that on the GX-640 the origin cut mark would end up on the inside of the roll. Is there a software option to tell the cutter it needs to start backwards, or am I thinking about...
  7. Versa Works Contour Cut is Driving Me Crazy!

I had some initial problems with artwork that included masks, effects, etc and these steps have worked every time from that point. A flattened/rasterized version always seems to go through.
  8. Versaworks - Nested Variable Data Jobs

I was told by my dealer that variable data jobs could be nested, but I can't for the life of me get it to work. I've nested jobs that contain contour cuts, but not variable data. The button just gets grayed out when the jobs contain VDP. Is there another setting I can look into for utilizing my...
