If I went down the print, laminate, cut route could I consider using my Epson 4000. It gives me waterproof prints that would have the abrasion resistence if laminated. Not sure how the pigment ink would go with higher temperatures?

Since my last post I've been doing more research an I'm keen to get a PC600. Does anyone know of anyone selling. They're are quite a few PC60 available locally but I'm keen on the ribbon saver and job cut off features in the 600.

There are quite a few vinyl that stick well enough. All the other people making thermal printed labels for this market use them. I think I'll just have to test in regards to the ink durability. If I can avoid it I'd prefer not to have to overlaminate to keep the work flow a simple print and cut...

I have considered printers such as the SP-300V for this work but have been sceptical about the resiliance of the print. These labels get used through dishwashers etc. Any comments on the suitability of solvent for this use?
