This is good to know, they way everyone talks at conventions they get a wrap done before noon. I will stop feeling guilty about telling people wraps take 2 days. :) Thanks for your help
Thanks for the suggestions, we do tell them it may take longer than 1 day in some cases and 1 of my installers will work some overtime, but in most cases I can't get my people to stay 2 or 3 more hours to finish a job. We've only had the Epson for a little over a year and I was told that it's...
Happy New Year!
I'm trying to get a better handle on scheduling jobs. We are a vinyl sign shop that does about a vehicle a day for partial wraps, sometimes full wraps on top of regular signs. I have 2 people that can install wraps and 2 people that can install cut graphics on vehicles and also...
I've spent a lot of time matching customer's colors in Flexi 22, then when 24 comes out they print very different. How are you dealing with this? Do you just go through the process of matching the color again? Right now I print the jobs that I've matched in the older version, but you can't have...
I actually started doing this before they added that in a firmware update. I've never tried it. I also have an HP L365 and it worked with that printer as well. I will tell you that I bought an Epson S80600L and the panels line up perfectly without any hassle.
I have the same printer, what I've found is that the panels line up much better if you print 1 panel at a time, let it run through the curing process, then send over another panel. Our panels never lined up until I did this.
I have the same plotter, I don't use the black lines in front and behind print, just the squares. Just the OPUS marks not the OPUS XY. When I do I have the same problem. If it reads that line wrong anywhere it distorts the cut file
I've been having problems all summer getting a good calendared vinyl for my everyday indoor signs. I've used HP Optimal Gloss Air GRP, then we started getting bad rolls with lines and pock marks in the face stock. I then switched to Briteline 3203x and it had the same defects. So, I switched to...
We just got a roll of white 680CR that appears to be v3 or v4 comply. It doesn't say it on the core or the box but you can barely see the lines in the backing paper and we can apply it with our hand with no bubbles. (just as a test) Can anyone confirm this?
I have an S80600L and the new firmware took care of this for me. I had trouble getting it to upgrade the firmware and I had to connect a laptop to the USB port of the printer in order for it to work. It kept asking for a password and my serial # did not work. The firmware is SC023N9,1.16;. It's...
Ours were old faces that sat in our shop for a couple of weeks before we applied the vinyl. So our problem had nothing to do with the plastic outgassing.
Try running one panel at a time. Let it go through the curing process then send over the next. This fixed our panels not lining up on wall graphics and wraps. (700w)
