Actually the biggest issue is when we are printing full sheets of acm and getting head strikes. I have measured the table all around to find the highest spots which helps. I still cross my damn fingers when my employee is running one.

Did you ever get any answers? I have gone back and forth with them about this with zero help. My table will be .3 - .4mm off but I get the same "spec" BS from them.

We run CMYK PCLWW and use the primer on most prints with great results. The biggest downside being if your primer bands for any reason you will see that come through the white and color layers. I was suprised when printing 2nd surface (PR,CMYK,W) that the colors actually popped a little more...

You cant use Rasterlink and have reliable colors. You will need to run something like Onyx or Caldera with the printer. Keep that in mind before you do anything.

We lay transfer tape down when we need paper jigs. It works really well and you can use it many times before replacing.
