I would say most of the installs is on linux. People just have other win/mac stations to do everything else. Rarely it's the same guy printing and designing.
Caldera has good internal ICC profiling and support for devices so you don't need extra software.
Edit: My bad, I get what you are saying now and you are correct. On the upgrade that's how it works, yep.
I mixed my thoughts with a new license. If I order one today and even tho they sell it as "22.5." they always seem to upgrade it to next version this close to release. Even without...
Yea you should upgrade it right away Today. V24 is coming out right now and then your upgrade gets more expensive.
I would go with permanent license. If you are going to keep it couple years at least the price is about the same.
They are right it's the data cable that's broken. It's like the school book example that you are showing.
Don't waste more time, just replace the cable. Only ~$150 and you are back printing as usual.
Yeah what is the reason you constantly have to connect to both cutters? It's easier to change settings on the cutter and usually barcode server works from the RIP.
It's just an estimate. There's a pressure sensor checking the ink flow but it only knows it ran out once ink doesn't flow any longer.
So if it thinks there actually more it can go up.
If you look from below you see the small holes that air will pass. If it seems like stuff is stuck in them then it should be cleaned. Heater fans as well etc.
Yes it needs to be taken out on a table and disassembled.
When was the curing last cleaned? It helps.
Add interpass delay if you want to make it work for now. It's simply about curing it completely. Optimizer has nothing to do with it.
Behind the cartridges, the part that holds the "PIPs", has a broken clip on the side and the rack won't stay where it should.
Take the cover off, easy to fix with a couple zip ties.
The thing with 3M Clearview is that when it initially heats up during the startup process and then the printer pulls back already warm surface to start the print, it will stick to the metal "loading platen" down below.
And there's not much you can do about it. Maybe some innovative diy solution...
