    At first look it could be a bad batch of ink I would flush the magenta line and reservoir and replace the filter and start with a new bag .

    I would start by cleaning your E-BOX with compress air, dust and static sometime can do funny things.

    I am a tech and 9times out of 10 it is a damage encoder strip or dirty encoder sensor this is the first two things that needs to be done. If you start with motors and boards it will be very expensive and you will be very desappointed.
