Thank you. Did you check off the boxes labeled Enable output size compensation or compensate cut size?
  2. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

Flexi will also allow you to add as many registration marks as you want.
  3. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

I'll have to try that and see if that works.
  4. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

Can you elaborate on the setup tab? Is this in flexi or on the printer itself?
  5. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

I'd really like to keep everything in Flexi seeing as how much I paid for everything. If i have to use Rasterlink, I guess i'll spend another chunk of time learning that. I am going to try adding more (6-8) registration marks to my single file that is 35" long and see how that tracks through the...

Flexi does support exporting to EPS and PDF. In Rasterlink, I'd need to open that exported file, do i still need to create the contour cuts in rasterlink? Then print, lam, and perform contour cut?

  8. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

Its equally bad in all spots, no rhyme or reason. This isnt what i want to hear. I spent a lot of time and money learning how to use Flexi. Is it possible to take designs created in Flexi (including contour cuts, etc) and print/cut them in Rasterlink? I've never used Rasterlink, I came from...
  9. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

Thank you for the recommendations. On the example above it was a single file, created a copy, then in the print cut menu for flexi I added a 2nd copy, which added the second set of registration marks. I will try adding reg marks on all cut files. I dont care if it takes longer, tired of wasting...
  10. Mimaki CJV150 contour cutting is way off

I have a CJV150-75...I'll print an image with registration marks, laminate it, then put back into the printer for contour cuts and its consistently inconsistent. I am using Flexi for everything. Seems like the first foot is great, then accuracy falls off. I thought it was me loading the media...
  11. Exporting Graphtec files to Flexi and Printing

Whoa...ok I didnt realize this. So all stroke lines are there for separation in the image so to speak. In order to cut, I need to make contour cuts on the parts of the image that I want cut out or around?
  12. Exporting Graphtec files to Flexi and Printing

I just tried this on a file that had 2 sets of cut lines. I'm able to color it no problem - but both sets of cut lines still appear
  13. Exporting Graphtec files to Flexi and Printing

I appreciate the help. Graphtec Pro Studio does let you export. I have tried exporting several different file types from Photoshop, PDF, Flexi, AI, etc...Most of the files exported lose some of the lines or quality in the process. Exporting as an Illustrator file type seems to work the best...
  14. Exporting Graphtec files to Flexi and Printing

  17. Cutter to first vinyl printer...

I’m at a crossroads here and have been researching vinyl printers for a long time now. I’ve been running a Graphtec ce7000 for a bit now and really need more color options which requires printing. I don’t want to sub it out. I do mostly graphics for vehicles so I work exclusively with vinyl, no...

  19. CE7000 cutting larger than dimensions entered

I'm stumped here. Using Graphtec Pro Studio with a CE7000 plotter. I'll enter the size of an image, for example 11.318 x 3.110 is entered as the dimensions and once cut, the image is 11.625 x 3.071. I read that it could be the step size but both the graphtec and software are at 1016. Any help...
