    It was the line sensor.. I disassembled it and with isopropyl alcohol and a brush I cleaned it well (even though it didn't look dirty). now it reads the maintenance cartridge correctly and also loads the paper as well

    I noticed that when loading the paper the carriage moves from right to left 2 times. The first time a red light comes on and the second time a blue light and then it goes into error 79:04
