Dear biedy67,
I will try to help you because I had this problem for a month and after spend around 800$, anybody had any idea (including technicians). Finally I fixed the problem myself.
1 - First see if the dampers are well introduced in the head pressure plate (the black ABS part where the damper goes).
2 - If they are introduced well, buy a syringe and suck ink through the dampers. If the ink comes to the damper, there aren't more mistakes, make a "ink refill" and it should be solved.
3 - The ink comes to the damper but if you make a "nozzle test" and don't print, probably there's air in the tube (I can tell you what to do in this case)
p.d: Hope you can understand my English.
Bernina.
