1618 End of Roll

I'm new the forum and thankful for all the information that everyone is sharing. I have a Mutoh 1618 that intermittently shows an End of Roll error message on the screen, however, there's plenty of media left on the roll. The sensor is pretty clean (this is a newer machine) and the firmware version is M/C: 1.10/5.05. Restarting the machine seems to get it going for a while. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Check to see if the media is lifting over the sensor when you get the error.
If the media is not flat, it can give a false reading.

Also check to see what is on the back liner, dark printing can trigger the sensor as well.
