1638UH - Only 1/3 Rollers Controlled by Orange Lever?

We have a mutoh 1638UH and the orange level that holds the vinyl down is now only lowering/raising approx 1/3 of the rollers as shown in the picture below. I am guessing there is some sort of linkage or something that has come disconnected but not sure how to figure this out. Any ideas?

Also, are there any guides on how to use the cleaning cartridges that came with the machine?

With the Orange lever up you can slide these metal brackets to engage or disengage the wheels individually. I have circled one of them in red below. As for the cleaning cartridges those are only used to prepare the ink system to accept the inks. Once this is done they aren't needed unless you do a long store to put the printer into storage.

We are having trouble with some build up of ink on our print head, I replaced the pad on the maintenance station but still not getting good nozzle checks, would the cleaning cartridges help with this at all?

Not sure if you are doing the daily maintenance but I suggest you do

Make sure one of the small pins didn't break on the maintenance station. If everything is good there. Try soaking the head for a couple hours or overnight.
