2 pass mode?

So I want to print on translucent or clear vinyl for back lit sign applications. I've used roland printers in the past that have been able to do a 2 pass mode (double the amount of ink) So that the image doesnt look 'washed out' when the sign is lit at night. However i cannot find any option to do this with my Mutoh 1204. Im also using Flexi sign pro 10

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Quit buggin' me
With the 1304 you set it from the printer's menu
it is under
"Set up"
Overwrite Cnt <---- number of passes
Overwrite wait <---- delay before each pass
2 passes with .5 second delay worked for me.

Think it is the same for the 1204

so guess what. after searching on how to do this, and asking how etc...
I update my flexi today and now you can enable all of the options I listed above right in the newest flexi! :banghead:
Oh well. Glad flexi added something I find as a useful upgrade.

It should.
Post in the SAI Flexi forum.

It may not until you set Strikes beyond 1

I find 2 Strikes approx 0.5 secs Wait
You may have longer wait times depending on ink density and the capability of the media you are printing to.

I tried to set wait time longer in flexi after changing the strike over 1, still didnt work. This topic could be in either the "mutoh", or flexi forum thread. It can be set either way.
People with older versions of flexi wont have the option to change it either.

Yes, I understand.
The SAI folks are more likely to see it in the SAI threads than here.

It can always be set in a "User" mode and then called from the RIP by using that mode.
There are 30 modes available.
It is Overwrite cnt and Overwrite Wait in the printer front control panel.
