2 vinyl colours 1 premask sheet

morning all, looked around and couldn't find a post regarding this so here goes. I have to cut 2 colours of Avery premium vinyl (2 piece logo) and ship. But rather than doing them in 2 different pieces I would like to send to the client as one piece /premasked for easy installment/placement ( yes I know print and cut would be the easiest way but cutting the little pieces on the big printer takes up too much time when there is stuff to print ( Avery vinyl is also the perfect match to their colours) we get graphics from Fedex all the time that are 2 colours but come perfectly matched and premasked as one (I am pretty sure this is not printed)
I hope I have explained it and was wondering if anyone has a tip on how they do it.

Second question has anyone ever had to cut a perfectly round hole in 020 styrene and if so what did you use to cut it.

thanks in advance

Cut registration marks for both colors when cutting the graphics, apply transfer tape to top color only, cut out reg. marks from transfer tape, align graphics, apply top color to lower color, remove registration marks from bottom color.

I will have to try this.. We always premask one. Cut the backing out from under the registration. Put the unpremasked layer on a window and put the premasked layer over and line it up that way.

i ad a common bounding box along with registration marks that are pentagon shapes.

I use a bounding box too (an extra border) and that IS my registration marks, and I cut off bottom two corners of the masked layer, so I can align it perfectly on the work bench instead of using a light of or window. Then I cut off the registration border & ship.

these aren't colours on top of colours. the logo name is one colour and all the dots that go around the name are another colour. Does that change how you do it.

Makes no difference. You can also use this method applying to a substrate if both (or more colors are masked). As long as the squares (or whatever shapes you prefer) are all in the identical correct positions it works. Just make the squares for each color as shown in the attached PDF. They will ultimately be removed - when masking multiples together we pick or cut them back away before sending off the pre-spaced graphics.
