20 pt ABS Board

Does anybody have any experience printing on ABS Board with a flat bed printer. I recently tried and the sheet kept warping and bubbling up causing the print head to hit it. I think the heat from the UV bulbs was causing this.

Does anybody have any suggestions to stop this problem???

A partial solution may be printing unidirectionally with full carriage travel across the table width. Also few seconds pause after each pass may help. But the best way is to use the LED UV printer (like Fujifilm's LED1600), there's no heat under the lamps there.
