2283 Red Acrylic

We were making these channel letters using the 2283 red 3/16th acrylic but turned out what we had made us short two letters. So my manager asked me to match the red and print it. I told him I don't think that would work, but maybe I am wrong. Anyone here know if that is possible? Which CMYK would I use to match it? He came back and said to order a sheet of the 2283 red. So now I am just curious if it is possible to do the match and it still look like the others. Thanks in advance.

I did order it. What I was asking was wether or not a red print on regular white acrylic would have matched with the red acrylic. He first wanted me to match the red acrylic and print a red to lay on the regular white acrylic we have since we ran out of the 2263 but then changed his mind. I didn't think it would work but I was asking if anyone knew if it would out of curiousity.

Nope. Unless they are non-illuminated, even then it'll fade faster than the acrylic.
I didn't think it would. I am glad he changed his mind and had me order the red acrylic because I really wasn't looking forward to the results. He can build a sign but he doesn't know my job or understand it. Graphic design and print setup is not in his skillset. There are still things about signs and graphic design I don't know so I am glad to have this forum. Thanks a lot!! :)
