Love it! Did you scan / design the part yourself?

This is the only useful purpose I can think of for a 3D printer in our shop.

What does the workflow look like for something like this?

I took a picture with a ruler for scale and put into Flexi and scaled to size- traced the outline and position of the square rod that it goes over and transferred to Fusion360 and extruded the outline to the thickness of the original with a cutout for the square piece that goes around the rod and printed that separately [two copies with a split for figuring out how to get it on the rod without disassembly- it flexed enough to snap on]. the handle was relieved enough to also snap over the rod and slide [tightly] around the square piece snapped on before. Superglue it all together and ended up with a better handle than the original. The orig was injection molded so could not be solid as the cooling plastic would go crazy. 3D printing can be solid and create parts that cannot be made any other way. And... this is what I do for fun now days- design and prototype parts. Gene -- printed with PETG filament by the way- better than orig.
