So I have complete my during lunches over the past few days at the shop. First run is in 3 pieces as I was getting used to the material and how to hold a tank still, keep a teen age helper occupied with a propane torch and figure out this matte green 1080 material. I am going to go with a satin canyon copper in a few weeks and my boss was happy to let me use this scrap matte material but my big question is this, is the satin or gloss 1080 less stiff than the matte. We do a ton of 3M 180 in the shop and this is quite a bit different. I like the conformability, I like how I can work it, but it seems very stiff without a touch from the torch. Are the gloss and satin the same way?
thanks all!
