3M Controltac 180 and 3M Scotchcal 220

What are the differences between the two? In your opinion should one absolutely be used in one situation over the other? Thanks in advance.

180 has a repositionable adhesive that doesn't become fully adhered until it is squeegeed. 220 is not repositionable. 180 costs more so you would only use it when the repositionable feature is needed.

+1 for Fred. Bear in mind, 220 face stock is identical to 3M 7100 (kraft paper liner) and 7700 (plastic liner). I would price compare.
