3M vinyl coming off track

Has anyone been having an issue with 3M 15" vinyl coming off track of the plotters or edge fx? Particularly the white and black scotchcal 50 series?

Of all the vinyls this would be the least to have this problem one would think. Something must be wrong with the perf. See if you can send the vinyl back.

sometimes cleaning the teeth on the plotter that engage the holes works,..cleaning gently with.a wire brass brush with some mild solvent till all the whitish grey gook is gone you may also want to check the spring tension on the covers for the teeth,....
