I know I'll get torn a new one for just the thought of this, but has anybody ran 3rd party inks "piggy-back" with OEM? ...I just HAVE to ask. Let the beatings commence...

Let the beatings commence. Ok.
Try J-star eco solvent ink. Just go ahead and test print. If you dont like the color; flush them out, you get money back. No harm for any parts of the printer, period.
I would send you five or more references for you to call if you dont like the ideas of money back.
