42" cut but i only have a 34" mh 871mk2

Im working on a sign and the client would like a 42"L ×42"W cut its a logo is there any way i can cut half and join together? Silly question perhaps, still very new to vynil cutting

You can.. but it'll look like crap. Timing is meant for huge cuts that you have no other choice for. For something like that, I'd sub it out if you can t do it In house.

Unless it's going high up that no one will notice a seam.

If it has to be tiled, find a place in the design that a seam will be the least noticeable. Then, plan for at least 1/8" overlap. When you install the pieces, lay the bottom first, then overlap the top piece so rainwater will run off (like shingles).
