Hi, wondering if anyone has any info on error code 1622 on a 60600.
It's been popping up randomly and usually with a few restarts it'll clear but we're thinking of calling in a tech. I wanted to post here first in case it's something simple.
The service manual makes it sound like it might be a sensor in the ink cartridge area but it doesn't give much info. It states:
1.) Is there any abnormal load applied to the pressure unit?
2.) Is there any disconnected connectors or damaged cables?
Then the solution is to replace the pressure unit (IC holder) or replace the main board.
Hoping it's not a main board but the printer has been so problem free over the past three years that I'm amazed this is the first issue we've seen.
I'm just worried we'll call in a tech and they won't be able to do much since it only happens occasionally.
