It's better to have two hands than one glove.
My faithful old Mutoh VJ1204 printer died earlier this week leaving me in desperate need of three canvas prints. I can get them locally for a ridiculously low price but they would be aqueous, not solvent. I need to know if coating these prints with plain old smell-my-butt Hobby Lobby matte acrylic varnish will have any effect on the prints. I have never, as in ever, dealt with aqueous prints before and have no idea about their care and feeding. The literature on this issue seems rather evasive and really never states authoritatively Yes or No. I did read a bit sort of recommending spraying them with Krylon Fixative. What is the wisdom of this? It's hard to get anything resembling an even coat from a spray can. I don't want to attempt it unless absolutely necessary.
I could real use some guidance here. Thanks...
