Any one have an old FlexiPro 5.9v2 disk?

I love Fpro 5.7v6 (also use Fpro 7.6v2) and use it every day. I find that both
versions are needed for different tasks but we are trying to convert over to
F7.6 for most work. I have been trying to get F5.7 to work on an XP computer
so that I can retire more of my Win 98se boxes- less headaches. Talking to
Matthew on the Flexi bullboard he thinks that Fpro 5.9v2 would work better
than f5.7 and I would like to try it. These are legal copys and I am not trying
to circumvent anyone or anybody. I had the Fpro 5.9v2 disk but it did not
work with the mighty printer I had at the time (Fargo) and I must have
pitched it. That was 10 years ago when I was young(er) and dumb(er) and
a mere 51 years old. Anyway- enough wind- if anyone has one I would buy
it or a copy of it. Thanks Gene:thumb:

It is hard for you to catch it. The oldest version I skill keep is 6.5v3, I do not think people here still have the version you are looking for.

Sorry Gene, can't help ya. But I just wanted to say I also love the older version of Flexi. However, we did upgrade to Flexi 7.6v2 last year.

Good Luck with your quest.

Thanks DARLAK- I actually got 5.8 from Fred awhile back but I would like to
find 5.9. I am testing VMware running 98se on a XP box and it runs but slowly
my IT guy is researching it. I am teaching my daughter to use 7.6 after
11years of using 5.7v6 and she thinks that it is 'retarded'. And I can identify
with that- in many areas they have made a step back. That is not to say that
it is not a great program and very powerful- but there are a number of things
that are easier/better in the old program. I am afraid to upgrade to 8.x because
you loose your original dongle and I will not be without 5.7. They
claim that you can keep your old dongle and they will not burn it out (as is
normal I think) if you ask them not to- but I can see that going bad.

Have you tried running that older version with XP in compatability mode?
Right click on the exe file, properties, compatability tab. Win 98 should be listed.
