Apply magnetic sheet or vinyl to back of 2-3mm PVC

I am cutting out CNC letters that will be installed on 3mm pvc. I plan to print a background layer that has a light version of where the letters go. The letters will be cut out of 3mm PVC and I will apply magnets to the back. I want to find an easy way to install the letters on show site for the booth setup. I was thinking of putting a magnetic sheet on the back side of the PVC and then put up the letters using magnets. Would the strength of the magnets be able to go through 2 or 3mm PVC? Is their an easier way to install letters? The 3mm PVC panels will be install in the BeMatrix metal system.

If you're planning on using standard 30 mil magnetic sheet, there is no way they will stick through 2-3mm PVC.

You could look into magnetic receptive material like this https://magnummagnetics.com/magnetic-receptive-material/ to put on the front of your display.

Personally, I would consider applying the PVC logo to clear acrylic and hanging the sign as a unit on the PVC wall.
