I’ve been printing the 13oz Forward with an L310 for about a year now and have no complaints concerning print quality using 10 pass. It’s closer to white than some other banner materials I’ve used, so colors come out nicely. Although I will agree the heat setting is crucial. A little too warm and it will get wavy, much of which goes away after it cools.
My concern with Forward is more in the durability. And let me say right off that I have had NO complaints from customers concerning durability with the Forward. Zero.
But, it feels light for a 13oz, to me, and the scrim is not as prominent as other 13oz material I’ve used. I’d be curious to know of any others experience with it concerning strength and durability.
One minor gripe, the cores are an adventure to separate from the HP spools.
