At A Sign Show And...

I was at the annual sign show in toronto on friday. I was amazed at some of the images that was coming off of the printers like heineken and stuff like that where would i be able to find hi res stuff like that for personal use for my garage.

You mention heineken Copyright issues is the first thing I would say. Secondly it will start off being just for your garage... Then a buddy see's it. Because you will show them... After all not worth having anything nice and not have people oooH and Aarrrrr over it. And before long your producing them for just close friends and family for their garages. Then you have their friends saying well you produced it for them why not me? Suddenly your making this stuff for everyone. So before long you think I may as well charge for it, as its costing you money anyway. And from there. well you'll print anything for a buck. Stay away from it.

But for nice high res photos, do a search on google there are a lot of great sites out there that will sell you a nice image.

You should have asked the vendor for the samples the were printing. They're normally happy to give them away.

I was to busy to attend this year. How was it? Did you find any new vendors selling interesting items or the same old stuff?

Funny you mention the Heineken stuff. At every show I've been to in the last 10 years I've seen the same Heineken bottle cap ad being printed.
