backing white on clear vinyl

I have done this before but for the life of me can't get it to work today. Omega 5.0. I am printing a two color decal (white and red) on clear vinyl. The contour cut line is 1/2" larger then the decal and needs to stay clear. I need a backing white behind the red but don't want to waste the foil of printing the white twice. Thanks in Advance!

Set the White and Red to overprint and then set the White to print first in the print options
