Been fighting this a couple of weeks and it's not getting better. Not sure what all of the low cost fixe you have already tried..... not sure on your machine but aside from dampers, then it's capping station top(s), pump(s), and finally the printhead itself.
I would change the cap next (clean it first and see if that helps) How old is the printer, those first generation versacamms had the old style pump with the white tubes and they failed often. The new style don't seem to ever break. You are getting a lot of deflection which is hard to cure. Check the wiper to make sure it is keeping the head clean. Next pull the damper and gently push some cleaning solution through the head.
If that fails I have plenty of heads here in Denver
I think 3-4 years is really pushing it on the life of a pump.... I'd def look at replacing the pump(s) and capping tops - max about 2 to 3 years. Could very well be your pump or the tubing within it is done for or the capping top is just worn out.
