Beer Label Material

I need to make beer labels but I am not sure of the best material to use. It will need to withstand water from the cold bottle and wet hands. I think the paper is usually very thin with adhesive on back?
Also, I'll be printing with a Latex printer (HP L26500), not sure if this is the best printer for the job, but that's what I have to work with.
Any material ideas or advice would be appreciated!

Any adhesive vinyl will be fine. Laminate optional....water won't hurt the ink.
