When customers want a more durable print, give them the option of brushing on liquid laminate to protect the print. It makes the colours pop too - customers love colours that "pop".
I don't make a lot of banners, however I have a customer who wants a printed 5'x10" banner to hang outdoors and wants it to last for one year.
What kind (name) of liquid coating do you use painted over a eco-solvent banner to make it last longer?
Thanks
I have used ClearShield Canvas Guard for years, however it's NOT for use with solvent banners outdoors, only interior used Gallery Wrapped canvas prints.
Have you used ClearShield for outdoor banners?
Clear Shield Original Formula.
Which is for use with solvent prints of any denomination. I've been coating banners with it for years, as well as canvas prints and most everything else that issues forth from my printer, with zero, as in none, problems.
here is a good article on banners you might find helpful

I have seen some banners that have what looks like WEBBING sewn inside the hem (I guess to make it stronger), what is it and where do you get it?
Thanks
