We currently have Safety Speed Dust Free Substrate Cutter, but finding we are needing panel saw for cutting 6mm Max Metal. What is best system for the cost and best supplier? Pros/Cons to adding this piece of equipment welcomed too.

Safety Speed Panel Saw (H4, H5, or H6). An H5 will cut 5' tall panels vertically or can be turned to rip them, and is a good choice. Cons, makes dust. Pros included an option to hook up a vacuum to minimize dust and the ability to cut nice square panels. Different blades may be worthwhile if you cut a mix of materials (acrylic needs a special blade, but ACM and MDO wood can use the same blade). Try not to drop material on the plastic rollers - the are replaceable but you will need to adjust them so they line up properly with the others (to keep your material level).

You cut .080 aluminum on a steeltrak? Seems like it'd be a little (a lot) too thick for me. It says it can cut .040 which still seems a bit too thick for a non blade...

How are the edges?

We have a staffer who is 6'7" and #400'ish, so a "normal" person would have issues cutting the thicker materials
the 6mm is more often than the 080 alum

The edges are good, no burs or jaggedness

have been using the cutter for 5+ years in this manner
