Best place to learn basic of PS?

I need to learn the basics of PS for sign applications. Any suggestions? On line tutorials, classes? School of hard knocks?

there are hundreds of tutorials for photoshop to be found online. Photoshop is not the software of choice for cut vinyl but for printing it is fine. I don't think anything is going to be sign specific. So most any tutorial can be applied to the sign industry

For paid tutorials, try lynda.com

If you have time a audit local college or university Photoshop class. It will give you the basics and having other students around will help develop tricks and details you would have never used on your own. Well worth the $

If you want to learn the basics of photoshop, plus1 for www.lynda.com, also check out Bert Monroy at Revision3.com. You might also consider your local community college.

I'd highly recommend learning Illustrator or some other vector software in addition to photoshop.
