Better way to store foamboard to prevent warp/bowing?

We have limited space in here, so they're sandwiched between the thick stack of coro and dibond. Vertical angle 'easle' stand. It's sad when I have to run foamboard thru the FB700 and there's headstrikes all over the edges. :-( MAde mistake of using a hotair gun on a piece, thought it would help it flatten out under flat dibond but it just caught fire.

You're lucky if it doesn't warp storing it flat.... on a shelf. Most anything will eventually start to bow/warp/cup. Moisture, heat (or lack of) and other conditions will all play a part. Other than a day of two, nothing stands on end around our shop.

flat with a sheet of something heavy on it. You may have to get creative. In one shop I worked in we had an 8'x8' light table hung from the ceiling on pulleys.

I really like that idea…everything is stood on-ends in here. Not such a big deal with Coro but there’s been a huge influx of foam board orders lately…

Yeah, I haven't had any foamboard go through this place in decades..... I think. They either upgrade or we don't do it. I'm not gonna knock myself out over cheap junk.

We switched to 2 or 3mm paperboard. No warping/denting, biodegradable, and easier to cut.
We get a brand called Bulldog Board but there are other brands out there...Grimco sells it as Duratex Eco Display Board.

Yea, we also refuse to use foamboard. It's too delicate. Either a gatorboard type panel or pvc
