bitmap tool question

i have an image that i am trying to put a contour cut on. but when i use the bitmap magic wand to make it transparent it only gets half the oval and not the other half...any ideas on how to get the whole oval to get a contour cut?

Im guessing the image is cropped so that the border of the oval hits the edge of the bitmap - needs more space around it

yes....any ideas on how to fix it...not very good with PS but decent in flexi

make a contour, separate it, and then try to make it an oval shape that you need

Use the shift key and select the other half with the same magic wand. Or enable "Select Similar" if the background color does not appear in the part of the bitmap you want to keep.

Were you using the Magic Wand from the Bitmap Edit Toolbar or the Make Transparent option?
