Blurred images

I have a problem with my Mutoh Spitfire Extreme 100. When printing a batch of identical images some of them suddenly get blurred. If i stop and begin again I will get a few perfect prints then it starts to blurr one print and the next can be perfect. It seems to happen by chance. We have tried to switch and print from another RIP station. Same result. We have changed the net cable. No success. We have noticed that if it starts alright it keeps on printing perfect. When it stops in it´s end station for a while and then starts to print again it sometimes begin blurring again. What can be wrong?

We solved the problem. There were some dust in a hole on the wheel beside the printer head that controls the position of the head. When removed the printer works fine again.

#1 issue with wide format printers.... improper maintenance.
any diagnostic routine should immediately start with a thorough cleaning!
